The design for horse blankets hasn’t changed much over the years, even though our understanding of horse behavior and anatomy as adapted to the times. Yukon Freedom Fit is challenging tradition by designing our blankets from the ground-up with your horse’s individual body-type, personality, and activity levels in mind.
While other blankets only come in a few limited sizes with no options for adjustability, which can lead to a poor fit that can irritate or even injure your horse, our blankets are completely adjustable so you can find the fit that works perfect for your equine friend.
No two horses are exactly alike and we know that your horse’s blanket should adjust to fit your horse, not the other way around.

The beauty of horse anatomy is the natural curves of their body - horses aren’t built with straight lines and neither should their blankets.
While traditional horse blankets are sewn with harsh straight lines that don’t account for the movement of your horse’s shoulders, here at Yukon Freedom Fit we know that your horse’s blanket should be mobile and adjustable.
Our Angular Shoulder Gusset allows a give-and-take for your horse’s shoulder: when your horse moves the Angular Shoulder Gusset expands and contracts - eliminating any pressure-points that can pinch, rub, or cause irritation.

Alternately, when your horse moves around - whether it’s at a comfortable walk or even when they’ve got some energy to burn and they gallop around the field - the Angular Shoulder Gusset expands to give them maximum movement without sacrificing comfort.
Flex Fit Closure System
Horses Are Individuals And Their Blankets Should Be, Too
Your horse is an individual, and just like a person their bodies will grow and change over the course of their life - that’s why our Flex Fit Closure System is built to adjust to your horse’s individual needs.
Utilizing two pairs of clasps, and secured to the blanket with adjustable high-grade nylon-rope, our Flex Fit Closure System can be easily adjusted to your horse’s needs.
Whether your horse has a narrow chest and whithers, is broad all-around, or is some combination of the above, our blankets will adjust to fit their individual body with ease.

Some horses are thin and slender - and with old blanket designs the blanket would sage and bunch up causing discomfort as your horse moves around.
With our Flex Fit Closure System you can adjust the blanket to fit your horse without worrying whether it will sag in uncomfortable places.

If your horse has a broad body, you know that sometimes their traditional blanket will constrict or pinch their bodies.
Our Flex Fit Closure System is completely adjustable and will fit even the broadest horses with ease.
