After 25 years of feedback from customers from around the world, and continuing the Legacy of Comfort for the Horse, Karl has come up with a new material for the Dixie Midnight No-Sweat vent pads. This material provides better impact resilience than the previous version of the Dixie Midnight while still providing the amazing qualities of free flow sweat and keeping saddle pads clean and dry. The 8mm thick, more substantial polymeric open loop weave provides better cooling for the horse's back as well as a better cushioning effect under the saddle.
In Beta testing, we found the Dixie Midnight ENDURO preformed even better than the original Dixie Midnight. Trail and Endurance riders found that slippage from under the saddle pad on a sweaty horse is reduced. Also, the ENDURO material is less prone to damage if it gets caught on something sharp either in the tack room or trailer when not in use or from trees or branches while riding.

I have a Dixie Midnight original that I use underneath my Skito pad. I bought the new enduro version to use under my Freeform enduro short back pad. I’m liking the enduro pad more in this setup as it cured my minor problem with slippage. I’m using this on the trails. So far no rubbing, no slipping and NO SWEAT! I love this thing. I’ll update as I use it throughout the season.
